Sunday September 21 – Friends and Family Day
Worship at 8:00 am and 10:30 am, refreshments and church tours at 12:30 pm
This is a good day to invite a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or family member who is curious about your church, new to Christianity, or seeking a church home. There is someone in your life whose heart is being prepared by God to return to church after being away for a while, or who wants to start attending church for the first time. Perhaps you know someone who is new to the area and seeking community, someone who is going through a difficult life circumstance, or someone who is ready to explore new answers to life's big questions. Identify a friend or family member in your life that you might want to invite to church, then pray for and about that person. If you don't think you know anyone, ask God who would be appropriate and see whose name pops into your mind. Invite a friend, family member, co-worker, or neighbor to come to church with you on Friends and Family Day!

To cherish warm old memories and anticipate a sparkling bright future. Once again it's time to COME HOME to St. Bartholomew's. God is doing a new thing at our church. Experience for yourself the vibrant energy of renewal and revival. Learn the ways we are serving Christ by serving each other. There's a sweet sweet Spirit in this place. Sunday November 23 – Commitment Sunday—worship at 8:00am and 10:30 am
Commitment Sunday is the day to make a commitment to support the work of God in 2015 through the life and witness and mission of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church. Many of us grew up in households where money was not openly discussed, or where financial decisions were kept secret. But in our church family, there are no secrets about money. Our priorities about money are the definition of who we are and what we think is important. Where our treasure is, there will our heart be also. oney is the root of all evil only when we love money more than we love God. Money used well to advance God's will is a blessing! Please let your pledge for 2015 reflect your gratitude to God for His presence in your life and in your worship at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church.

Saturday December 13 – Cambridge Community Senior Dinner at 1:00pm
This intergenerational holiday celebration is an annual event our seniors really enjoy! St. Bartholomew's will be cooking up a feast as only we can, and the younger generation serves the meal to seniors from our parish and the surrounding neighborhood. Festive Christmas decorations, fellowship and laughter, a home-cooked meal, and a round of Christmas carols make it an afternoon to remember. Get your Christmas celebrating started early at the Senior Dinner!
