Parish Events:

Sunday August 29: St. Bartholomew's Day is the time we celebrate our patron saint, the apostle our church is named after.  St. Bartholomew is associated with evangelism and suffering and healing.  May we, like St. Bartholomew, spread the good news of Jesus Christ far and wide, and soothe the suffering of those around us with active prayers for healing.

Sunday September 12:  The Sunday after Labor Day is when we end our summer schedule of one worship service per Sunday.  We resume our regular schedule: a quiet service at 8am and the principal service at 10:30am.

Saturday September 18:  Teens and adults who are interested in performing in our liturgical dance group should call the church before September 12 to get information about how to participate in this ministry.

Sunday October 10: Homecoming Sunday is a joyous occasion!   Members of the extended St. Bart's parish family who are unable to worship with us regularly make every effort to "come home" to St. Bartholomew's to reminisce about old times, give thanks for present blessings, and pray for the continued health and growth of the parish.  It's like a parish family reunion where all are welcome, for we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord. Homecoming is traditionally the Sunday of the Columbus Day weekend, so if you will be in the New England area at that time, feel free to celebrate with us!
